Sellzy ("we," "our") places great importance on user privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand ("PDPA"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application ("App").
By using the Sellzy App, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Voluntarily Provide
- Account Information: Full name, email, phone number, password
- Profile Details: Username, profile picture, location (if permitted)
- Item Details: Product descriptions, images, prices
- Communications: Questions or feedback sent to our team, messages exchanged between users through the in-app chat, which may be reviewed by Sellzy for security and fraud prevention purposes
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, access times, patterns of app usage
- Location Data: If you grant permission, we may collect GPS data to display relevant nearby listings
- Advertising Identifiers: Device advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google Advertising ID) and app event data — for example app installs, sign-ups, and listing activity — collected through advertising and analytics SDKs to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns
2. Purposes of Data Processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your user account
- To provide buying and selling services and facilitate user communication
- To improve your experience within the Sellzy App
- To analyze usage trends and enhance system quality
- To prevent fraud and monitor violations of the Terms of Use
- To send news, notifications, or special offers (with your prior consent where required by law)
- To review or monitor chat communications where necessary to investigate reports of unsafe behavior, fraud, prohibited content, or violations of our Terms of Use
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to reach people who may be interested in Sellzy
3. Disclosure of Personal Data
We may disclose your data to:
- Other users to facilitate transactions (e.g., contact details for arranging meetups)
- Relevant third-party service providers such as cloud hosting, analytics, and advertising partners. We currently use Google Firebase for authentication, database, and hosting services, and the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure the performance of our advertising. Where these partners are named, they process data under their own privacy policies.
- Government agencies or officials as required by law
- In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or transfers of business
We will never sell your personal data to any external party.
3.1 Advertising Measurement and Your Choice
We share limited device and app event data with Meta Platforms, Inc. so that we can see how many people install and use Sellzy after seeing our ads. On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before this data is used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads. Sellzy works exactly the same whether you allow this or not.
4. Your Rights under the PDPA
You have the following legal rights:
- The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data
- The right to correct or update your data
- The right to request deletion or destruction of your data when it is no longer necessary
- The right to withdraw consent (for data processed on the basis of consent)
- The right to request suspension of processing or to object to processing in certain cases
- The right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee
You can exercise these rights by contacting us as specified in Section 10.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined and may retain it further if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or improper disclosure.
7. Children's Data
The Sellzy App is not intended for children under 13 years old (or under 20 if not legally of age under Thai law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers, including Google and Meta Platforms, Inc., process data on servers located outside Thailand, including in the United States. Where necessary, your data may be transferred to countries that may not provide the same level of personal data protection as Thailand. We will implement appropriate safeguards before transferring your data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy at any time. Updates will be communicated through the App or other appropriate channels.
10. Contact Us
10.1 Deleting Your Account and Data
You can delete your account at any time in the Sellzy app under Profile → Settings → Account Deletion Request. This removes your listings and profile. We will review your submission and delete your data within 30 days. You can also email us at the address above. Some records may be kept longer where required by law.

- สิทธิขอแก้ไขข้อมูลให้ถูกต้องหรือเป็นปัจจุบัน
- สิทธิขอให้ลบหรือทำลายข้อมูล เมื่อไม่มีเหตุผลในการประมวลผลอีกต่อไป
- สิทธิถอนความยินยอม (สำหรับข้อมูลที่เราใช้บนพื้นฐานความยินยอม)
- สิทธิขอระงับการใช้ข้อมูลหรือคัดค้านการประมวลผลในบางกรณี
- สิทธิร้องเรียนต่อสำนักงานคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล
5. การเก็บรักษาข้อมูล
เราจะเก็บข้อมูลของคุณเท่าที่จำเป็นต่อวัตถุประสงค์ที่กำหนดไว้ และอาจเก็บไว้ต่อไปตามที่กฎหมายกำหนดหรือเพื่อวัตถุประสงค์ที่ชอบด้วยกฎหมาย
6. ความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของข้อมูล
เราใช้มาตรการรักษาความมั่นคงปลอดภัยทางเทคนิคและองค์กรอย่างเหมาะสม เพื่อป้องกันข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของคุณจากการเข้าถึงโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต การสูญหาย หรือการถูกเปิดเผยโดยมิชอบ
7. ข้อมูลของเด็ก

8. การโอนข้อมูลระหว่างประเทศ

10. ช่องทางการติดต่อ
10.1 การลบบัญชีและข้อมูลของคุณ
คุณสามารถขอลบบัญชีได้ตลอดเวลาในแอป Sellzy ที่ โปรไฟล์ → การตั้งค่า → คำขอลบบัญชี ซึ่งจะเป็นการลบประกาศและโปรไฟล์ของคุณ เราจะตรวจสอบคำขอและดำเนินการลบข้อมูลของคุณภายใน 30 วัน หรือคุณสามารถส่งอีเมลมาที่อยู่ด้านบนก็ได้ ทั้งนี้ ข้อมูลบางส่วนอาจถูกเก็บไว้นานกว่านั้นตามที่กฎหมายกำหนด
